Give Em the Ol’ Snake Eyes
This was part of a trade with a friend of mine. Her only request was that it be a Boston Terrier.
I tried working on some watercolor techniques to help my nerves this past weekend. It’s mostly unfinished.
Ouija acrylic watercolor. approx 8 in x 13 in.
I put the two images together for easy viewing.
a commission for David Toboz, a full body portrait.
Commissioned by David Toboz, one of 2 full body portraits of his Exalted Characters.
He was supposed to give off a ‘jerk’ vibe while still fitting in with a kind of fantasy, feudal Japanese type setting. The weapons are chakrams, with irregular shaping because the character is blind, made of a kind of glass/crystal material. I had a lot of fun with the different textures after I got past the face.

currently working on armor made of Aspen tree bark.
This commission is seriously giving me trouble. I’ve started over about 7 times on it; the good news is I’m getting closer to something I actually like but I’m still not happy at all with the direction that it’s going.
Update: Got it.
More technical sketches will come later but these are the initial plans for a costume fursuit I have in the works. I’ve been wanting to get back into the costuming for a while.
Its a creature I call the Coral Medusa, inspired quite a bit from the How To Train Your Dragon series.
Update: 2nd image added to post.
